Summer 2007 - Part One

During hurricane season, we decided to spend some time in the States sponging off of family and friends.  Naturally we took some photos and want to share them with anyone interested.  We started our U.S. time in Glen Ellyn, IL. with Eric's parents, then went to the Blackstone family annual vacation in Green Lake, WI.  We hit the Taste of Chicago 4th of July week (and had the yummy, yummy hummus, with Salmonella, no extra charge!) After Eric recovered, we went to the Hufnagel's (Janet's parents) 55th wedding anniversary party in Lockport, NY, where we stayed for a couple weeks.  We took side trips to see Sarah Hinckley in Vermont and Laura Ruberto's brand new baby Ella in Utica, NY. This trip was followed by a short stay in Glen Ellyn during which we spent an afternoon with Sandy and her family in Gurnee, IL.  After a gourmet dinner with Josh (and his hottie Irene) we jetted off to Seattle where there were way too many goings on to describe here (and, unfortunately too few pictures!).  While in the Pacific Northwest, we drove up to Bellingham to see our cruiser friends Ann and Stu (s/v Walkabout - we LOVED talking boat).  Sean had a going away party back in Chi-town - he's off to Dakar, Senegal playing James Bond or some secret shit.  Then it was off to England for Kaitlyn's wedding.  Madison is the latest place we've been, visiting our friends Aimee and Scott.
