Okay, we finally installed the voice dictation so Janet could do some blog entries.  Here is today's entry (no editing from me, this time!)

Thank you very much for installing this.!

Okay now this is Janet doing the log.  We finally installed the voice dictation software so now I can do my part in writing the daily logs.  Please forgive any speaking typos that occur from voice dictation.

Today we went into town so that Eric could order new glasses and we can buy some sheets.  Eric had two pair of glasses when we left Seattle, and now he has none.  For those of you who know him you know he can't see at all without his contacts in.  We were hoping they would turn up but no such luck.  Anyway, after we ordered the glasses (from a place that was recommended in the area cruisers guide), we went to get some new sheets for our new bed, which was a little difficult because they seem to have different sizes here (something called "matrimonial" although it's possible this is a normal category and we just don't know about it).  We ended up buying a king size and it's pretty loose but it will work okay.  The store we were shopping and was called "Gigante" and There Was a Pizza Hut in the Mall There, so That's Where We Ate Lunch.  So this excursion took about five hours woo hoo.  What was more exciting was when I took a walk down to a dock to see Barb & Mick.  They are from Seattle and have been anxious to have us over for a drink for a few weeks now.  I walked over there to tell them that we are free tonight and tomorrow and there was a small crowd gathered around the boat next to theirs watching a guy at the top of the mast, who was wearing a beekeeper mask and a plastic suit.  There were bees swarming than all around his head.  Barb & Mick told me that bees had made a nest of their entire mast.  They had scraped out a mass of dead bees the size of your head from the bottom of the mast with a screwdriver.  I think if we ever got bees in our mast I would have to be the one going up there, because Eric really really really hate bees.

Well Eric has just cooked some dinner that was pasta with pesto sauce from a jar (hey we are pretty simple at this stage) and has just poured me some cheap red Mexican wine in in a coffee mug.  OK I'm back.  That was quite yummy actually.  So tomorrow we are planning to change the Mexican courtesy flag because ours is all faded.  oops -- Eric just spilled cheap red Mexican wine on our brand-new sheets!
